40mm plastic ladderlock buckle
The ladderlock buckle is best-known as the buckle which controls the length of rucksack shoulder straps. It has no moving parts. Instead, there is a highly-angled bar which means that whilst webbing can easily be shortened, it is difficult to lengthen unless the buckle is tilted. They are commonly used on camping straps because of their light weight and there are no detachable pieces to go missing. This buckle fits 38-40mm (1 1/2") webbing.
